Are you paying attention?

I'm not sure what's prompted me to write this but I'm pretty sure a lot of this is because in just 10 short days, the world will again pay their respects to those people who died on 9/11.

This blog isn't supposed to be political in nature, so it shouldn't be interpreted in that sense.  However, it should be a gut-check to you... the young man or woman reading this.  Whatever you're doing with your life, are you paying attention to the world around you, and more importantly perhaps, are you doing anything about it? Because until that morning in September 2001, I sure as hell wasn't.

Don't think for one minute that other people's problems in Mexico, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Greece, Afghanistan, Italy or wherever they may be don't affect you because they do.
