Well, another week came and went which means its time for a new blog!
It was a pretty excellent week, my sister got married, I got a new brother and my family that I don't get to see nearly enough came down South. Before all the wedding festivities began though, I got to play tourist/tour-guide. Boat tours, dive bars, restaurants and carriage rides were enjoyed by all. Side-note, I need to get out and do that more; slowly moving along Charleston's back alleyways in horse-drawn carriages listening to their hoofs clack on cobblestone streets while admiring the Georgian architecture on a sunny Lowcountry afternoon was the best thing I've done in a while.
As the festivities got underway and after I had the privilege of escorting my brother-in-laws mother to her seat, I saw a great friend of mine sitting among my family. The significance of this persons attendance is perhaps too much for words. And that much self disclosure at this moment would be too much (maybe in another blog).
Well, now that the party is done, I suppose I should get ready for Monday. As much as I hate to say goodbye to my family and see them leave, I know that the next visit is just right around the corner!
