Chapter 2

Not sure where to begin on this one so I’ll just start…

I’ve started writing a fiction book. Figuring out its title has become extremely difficult, but the story seems to be unfolding without any complications (I’m so glad I studied creative writing in school.) I read a quote from Hemmingway a while back about writing being easy and all you have to do is sit down and bleed; how true that is! I figure this probably is a better method than resorting to alcohol to find inspiration. I'm going back to the basics on this one, paper and pencils only ...no computers with MS Office to correct me. The only detail I’ll give now is that it’s a murder mystery based in the deep South!

On a lighter note and keeping in-line with my creative side, I’ve written several new songs on the acoustic and am working on recording and playing out again. I’ve grown a lot as a guitarist and song-writer from my Three Strike Loser days.

...way better inspiration for songs too!

October has been an extremely busy month and life is way too short, that’s all I’ll say about that!

This work/school week has been a hectic one to say the least. I'm looking forward to having a relaxing weekend with family and friends!
